a Bailar - Juntos event
Henley Town Hall, Market Place, Henley on Thames RG9 2AQ
Nick 'El Oso' King and Ricardo 'El Tordo' Peixoto.
The music presented is that which a milonguera or milonguero would be happy to dance to, and will be organized in tandas with cortinas in the TTVTTM format. We reckon the character and personality of the DJ’s have a significant effect on the character and personality of the milonga, and we are very pleased to have Nick for the afternoon and Ricardo for the evening - ¡estos dos hombres son los cojones del perro! - you won't be sitting down much.
You will be catered for in the usual Husky Mary's style - The Menu is after a few photos from the previous Husky Mary's:
Directions
Cross the bridge into Henley-on-Thames and the Town Hall is straight in front of you within a few hundred yards. Turn right to find the Waitrose car park.
Parking
The Waitrose car park is only a couple of minutes walk away, has 340 spaces, and (we are told by the council office) it is free in the evening - head South out of the carpark and there's a little alley beside a second hand furniture shop, and that alley takes you straight through to the Town Hall. And on Grey's Road (come up Market Place and turn left at the hall) there are another 147 spaces.

Louise works at the town hall and will be front door security for the evening. She'll have the guest list so you'll need to check in with her when you arrive. If you have any worries then just print your booking and take it with you. Follow the music upstairs for the hall, where we will give you a warm welcome.
We aim for a flowing dance floor as well as a balance of people dancing the Tanguera and Tanguero roles. As such, numbers are limited and booking in advance is required.
There will be seats at tables for everybody.
You are free to sit anywhere you choose.
We invite you, for your enjoyment, to:
You are of course free to move about as much as you jolly well want, and there is a corridor behind the tables so you can do exactly that. The one exception is that people forming a maul at one end of the hall during the cortina will be invited to spread around a bit to help the mirada/cabeceo.
There are also plenty of spaces to socialise away from the dance floor.
Yes - the usual, and everyone who is invited will know and use them.
